So this still needs plenty of polish but is also a dream come true. Wanted to go with a robot arm but I guess ones that are accurate enough are very expensive.

A few nights ago I was ‘researching’ if any new cool probe fixtures or whatever have been released and it led me to look at the insane flying probe stations as it normally does.
However this time I eventually ended up looking at a $220 CNC machine that can be controlled over usb. Say less…
I also recently got my first 3D printer and was itching to make something novel with it.
5 late nights later, and AutoProber is here.
It’s a pretty simple setup with 0 polish or optimization but I’m too excited to not release it.
Still lots of testing to do so don’t hesitate to contribute!
To use it, just connect your build to a box and point any agent at it. Ofc you can use the web dash or scripts yourself as well.
The agent will find the target on the plate, recreate the target from images it takes, identify the components and mark the pins/pads/holes/etc to probe and present them to you in the web dash(or via the TUI of the agent if you prefer) to approve or deny.
Ofc a multimeter makes more sense then a oscope but turns out my multimeter is too fancy to use a regular usb to connect it to a computer lol.
Anyway enjoy.
